hey guys im kind of new to this but i want to know what is need to be done to my car to rev the engine higher its a D16z6 and i just want to rev it to like 8200 and ofcourse im going to get ECU chipped after all the mods are done please help

 

Cam and valvetrain upgrade.

Yeah, along with a good bottom end and a good tune or engey go KABOOM!!!1111!!

 

there is no real gain from just having your engine "rev" higher, unless you are still producing power. if you are not it will slow you down.

 

it wouldn't happen to be a stock z6 would it? and i don't mean i,h,e? if so you don't need to rev to 8200 it's not oging to help

 

thanks guys for the help and no its not stock its got I/H/E skunk2 intake manifold along with skunk2 TB and its got crower stage 2 cam shaft in it with dual spings and titanium retainers. what else is needed to be done in order to rev higher

 

Ok you've got all that stuff in it already and you're still asking us what's needed to rev higher?
