Default balljoints

how do you replace the upper balljoints in an ef? they are like welded to the a-arms. i wanted to replace the balljoints with some with an offset for camber correction. (used the adj. a-arm mounts, and the a-arms hit the fender) do you have to grind them off and reweld new ones?
i cant even get them to come off the spindle with a pickle fork, so now i need new ones, cuz now the boots are torn.
if anyone has any info/expierence please help

You must get 90-91 a arms, you currently have a 88-89 model correct?

90-91 balljoints are pressed in which are removable.

usually when you get a new upper A-arm, you will THEN be able get them pressed in thereafter....

So, in the Future, it will be better :D

But it's not as $ as you'd think, I think ~$80 for a new upper A-Arm.
Check Classifieds too, I've seen a few in there...
