Default 1st gen accord

alright well i dont know what the 1st gen accord it, the hatch back looking one, im assuming its 84-87. i currently own a 91 crx, and would like another cheap car just to beat around with. so i found an old accord thats only 300$, now sure on any condition of it, thinking of going back another day to look. but before i look i would like some information on them. i would like to know if these have any kind of potential. i figure there probably light, any capability to do a motor swap? could it make a good sleeper with the right work done? i assume they get good gas milage? let me hear some info and oppinions.

PICTURES WOULD BE GREAT AS WELL.

If you have the time and the money!! Be ready to fab up the new motor mounts.
And axles might have to be modified as well.

I'm guessing he's wanting to swap a f22 or b series? into a hatch accord old school style. AccordinglyDone has a guy with the style you're referring to, it's a blue one in his signature, not sure how much he's done to it to help you though. I would check that out and see if you can ask him some q's.

Alot of the older accord seem to take a B-Series relatively easily. But all the mounts will have to be custom made.
