Just wanted to get an over all average of what a 4th gen JDM H22 with just an intake would run down the track. Averages in Cool weather and Hot if you can. Im just currious?

This is a 1/4 mile track by the way, and 10.5 I THINK NOT... This is a stocl engine with just an intake and stock exhaust

He's just being a jackass. There's no real way to just guess what you're going to run. Slight engine differences (milage, sensor condition, etc), as well as track elevation, and driver skill have a big effect on 1/4 times. You could run a 14 or a 17 depending on all of these

i ran when it was like 90+ degrees outside on a track that is known for doing shitty track prep and ran a 14.9

its called Orlando Speed World and has been nicknamed by the locals Orlando Spin World so yeah, that should give you an idea of how shitty the track is. apparently if you have slicks its pretty good but anything less and its just not worth trying.

i like to think i could run at least a 14.3 or so on a good track in like 80ish degree weather.

i was tryin to see where i should be around, i ran the car over the weekend and it was around 93-95 somewhere around there. 1st pass i took it to easy off the line and ran a 15.9 , then i decided to up the RPMs to 2k and knocked it down to a 15.3 then the last run i launched at 4k and ran a 15.0, spun 1st a little. Its not the best rack around here either almost everyone spins..lol, but i guess im around the range that i should be

What did your car trap when you ran a 14.9?

damn, either your cars suck, or you do... I ran a 14.40 @ 96.64 with a 2.1 60' on street tires. It took me 4 runs to get this speed, but none of them were more than 14.7...

Well then, you do know that has to do with the weather and humidity, Plus what all mods does your car have. It was 93 and humid i know that on a cooler day i will run a littler lower. Where is it that you live and how far above sea level do u think that the track is???? And my car doesnt suck, i hit a 2.19 60' but i trapped a 91mph.

ahhm, also consider the weight of the car, the size of wheels and driver skill.
average drivers in a full interior 4th prelude basically stock should be between 15.5 and 15.0
better drivers below 14.9 to 14.6

95mph on that run

60ft was a shitty 2.5 so yeah, more practice and a better track prep would be nice lol

Thanks man, thats the kind of answer that i was lookin for, track prep where i ran sucked and mine is pretty much stock except for an intake. So i guess a 15.0 isnt that bad off, but i know that i can hit a 14.8 ro so. Im gonna try again here soon. Thanks for all the info
