Very Important front knucle question!!!
Ok guys i need some help here badly I have a 99 civic hatchback, i want the larger brakes of the 92-95 civic /96 and up integra. So i bought rear trailing arms and front knuckles and booster and master cylinder and shock forks from a 97 integra ls with abs. when swapping out the front knuckles from my dx i noticed that the overall length of my knuckles was smaller than the 97 integra. So thining it would be no problem i installed everything then bought omni power front camber kit and their new coilovers. so that's my front suspension setup right now when i down shift or right when i accelerate from first gear i hear this snapping noise like a bad balljoint now i know it has nothing to do with the camber kit or the balljoint i called omni power and from what i underatand and what makes sence is that because the front knuckle is longer it's changing the suspension geometry and putting the uppercontrol arm out of it's range of motion so it's putting alot more torque on the upper ball joints. now for my question does anyone have experience with this problem and does anyone know if their is a knuckle that small like a stock 99 dx's but with the caliper mounting points for the bigger brakes of the integra? asap if possible thanks
I also compared part number from 99 civic sir 51215s01810 and stock 99 dx 51215s01000 not sure if that'll help at all but yeah

Bump for an interesting question with a terrible topic title. I'd be willing to swap knuckles in my 00 GSR with shorter ones, to get a little more suspension travel before slamming my UCAs into the fender, but only if I can keep the stock Integra brakes.
