Obd2 engine > obd1 ecu
I've got a manual OBD2 engine (F23a1 SOHC) from a 99 accord. I managed to get it with the wiring harness/injectors/sensors still attached but with no distributor or alternator. I have a chipped OBD1 ecu from an integra. Is there a list of of required connections somewhere, and are the sensors all interchangeable? What dizzy would you suggest I get, one from an Accord or is there another one that'd be easier to wire?
If I'm missing some FAQ somewhere it'd be great to be directed there.
Thanks,

Whats with the title? Most people would argue that OBD1 is much better then OBD2.
Well seeing as it's an OBD2 wiring system I would imagine you'd probably want to get, yup you guessed it, and OBD2 dizzy.
Might also help if we knew what car this was going into.

I meant to use > as obd2 engine "going into" an obd1 ecu, not "greater than", necessarily.
Anyway, so I should just take a dizzy from the same car. Ok.
I was mostly wondering how to hook it up to the OBD1 ecu I have...
Here's my situation:
ECU says p75-a51 on it and I have it chipped so I can burn a fuel map to it.
I have all the plugs for it and the wires for it are all about 6in long.
I also have the engine harness completely wired to the engine (w/o dizzy) with the ecu plugs on the end of it (but obviously they are for the F23 ECU).
Whats the next most logical step from someone whos done it? Obd2 engine -> Obd1 ecu
Thanks,
I found a chart with the obd2a obd2b and obd1 equivilants all lined up. I guess another question is how do I know which Obd2 I am, and is it really that easy, just jump the wires???

oh god, their all green.
Isn't this what I want?

I have plugs on the end of my engine harness, they would go into the "block".
Those free plugs look exactly like the ones for my teggy ECU.
Problem is... I dont have 3 plugs from my engine, only 2, and it looks like that block in the back accepts 3... One of those for AT I hope???
Thanks for your help so far,

I'm not 100%. Come to think of it though I imagine you'd want an OBD2 harness with an OBD1 ECU plugin if I'm reading your question correctly. So I guess that would make more sense.
