...searched.... h23 rods in h22
i was wondering what would be required to change the h23 rods to a floating wrist pin to use with type s pistons in a h22???? i have searched everywhere and cant figure it out so if anyone on here has h23 rods in there h22 chime in please
Just curious but what are you trying to do? Put 11.0:1 comp pistons in an H23?
I believe you need to use the same rods as the crank. H23 crank requires H23 rods, H22 crank requires H22 crank.
If you are trying to bump compression up, shouldn't you just go with JDM H22A (10.6:1 comp pistons)?

no i have an h22a and im going to put type s pistons in it with a h23 crank...hence having a bigger stroke, higher compression monster.... when i first typed this post i thought that i needed the rods, but its the crank i need....should be done in like 2 months....we'll see what happens i know the h23a1 main and rod journals are the same size as the h22a rods....

H23 crank and rods With type-S pistons is a kick *** combo for not sleeving. Best bang for your buck IMO. If you want to go a step further with sleeving. Id look into a H23 crank, H22 rods, with custom pistons. Yes I said H23 crank with H22 rods the key being the custom pistons. I know of a prelude H series Allmotor on this board that made over 270WHP with this setup

There is really noting to explain. H23 crank with H22 rods and custom pistons gives you a kick *** stroke and compression. Missing gears is the guys name on the board i'll link him to this thread and see if he wants to share his thoughts.
