Need Help with ALT Part Number. Fellow Type R Owners Please Help
I need the Part Number Off the Stock ALT Housing...
It might be a Number like 101211-0830
I Have the Part Number from Acura - 31100-P73-A01
I found out that the ALT is Different from any other Bseries ALT BUT when you go to the Parts Store Like NAPA they Only Sell ONE for all Bseries...
FOund out the Hard way NOT TO BUY from those Places. I replaced the ALT in my Car back in April and the thing has Killed 2 Batteries already. Lights Dim when I let off the Gas and the AC Fan Speeds Up and Drops off when I Step on the gas and Let off....
Original Alt Bearings Went Bad. I am suspecting that the Shop that did repair on my Vehicle Last Year replaced the Stock ALT with this one cause the PN on this alt does not cross to the Type R.
Thanks in advance.

ANYONE??? All these Type R Owners on the Forums and not one with an Alternator?
Just incase you did not know. There are different ALT for the Type R and the GSR and B16... These Part Numbers Do not Cross Reference. The Problem is that when you go to the Local Parts store to get a Reman ALT they will tell you there is no difference and sell you an ALT for a B16... then you will have to replace it again 3-4 months down the line. Anyway I need this Number so I can help the store Update their System and that way (hopefully) No one else has to go through this crap.

Here's what I see on the label on my factory alternator:
HONDA AHGA33
51 . |CF| A5TA3591
12V |GL| 9X13
This is off a 2000 ITR. Hope that helps.
