Im trying to do a valve adjust ment on my 98 CRV and I forgot theres no decal on the hood anymore because of a previous accident.
Can Anyone tell me the valve adjustment specs? THanks!!

Can anyone tell me if the CR-V valve adjustment clearance figures are the same for other regions ?
We have a 1998 UK/EDM one, engine B20B3 (I believe the USDM version is designated B20B4 ?), and the original owners manual doesn't state the valve clearances, nor is there a reference label in the engine compartment, as seems to be the case with the USDM versions.
Also, in the 1998 European owners manual it gives the compression ratio for the engine as 8.8, whereas all the technical stuff I've seen online (probably for the US version B20B4) states 9.2.
Does anyone have detailed engine specifications/information for the European version they could share ?

I would imagine that the B20B3 valve specs are the same as the B20B4, but I am not 100% sure.
Also, the US first-generation CR-V came with two different motors. 1997-1998 models had the B20B4 that was 8.8:1 CR. 1999-2001 models had the B20Z2 with a 9.6:1 CR.

The source for engine specifications I'm looking at quotes a CR of 9.2 for the B20B4 variant.

And I'm still a tad reticent about using the B20B4 clearance figures to adjust a B20B3 engine, though I agree the probability is they're the same.
Perhaps a chat with a friendly mechanic at the local service station might be in order.

I forgot that there is a JDM version of the B20B that has a P8R head. That engine has, from what I gather, the 9.2:1 CR you show as well as larger, 33mm intake valves (the same size as B-series DOHC VTEC heads).
I'm not sure what specific models that engine came in, but I can assure you that the B20B4 is a USDM engine and has 8.8:1 CR.
