Default SOHC ZC value?

I'm looking at possibly replacing my SOHC ZC. I would like to know the value of it.

Some run down. 2point2 here owned it. He did the headgasket and timing belt, all checked out to be in good shape. I put it into my SOHC ZC, thing runs mint, pulls hard and just screams! Doesn't burn oil, doesn't leak a drop. It's matches to a Si tranny with a clutch that grabs good I'd say 85% of the time. At high RPM, like 1/4 mile racing, she slips a bit but she does me good to get around/race around a bit.

I've had it in for 10000kms now, and I've done 3 oil changes, going on the 4th soon, cleaning it out. The tranny oil needs to be changed with some synchromesh, which I won't do unless I keep it. Tranny doesn't grind unless you push it to 7000 or mess around like a tool. She's been good, at first leaked some oil onto the clutch, but some gasket maker fixed that. Would of gotten a real gasket, but it's a JDM only part, and I'm not spending $$$ on a gasket to block of a manual fuel pump. All sensors on it work fine, but the O2 doesn't when it's too hot, should need replacing. I got 525kms on my last tank, and I beat it up for 100kms or so (I beat it up to 6000rpm normal when I beat it up, when I drive nice it's 3000-3500, Khunt0012 will vouche for my granny driving to work)

Unknown mileage, but it runs mint, no burning, no leaking, clean engine. How much is the value, comes complete with PM6 ecu, Si dizzy and a new alternator not installed? I was thinking around 350$ due to all the work I've done to it, brand new valvecover /grommets, brand new rear main bearing seal and a few other things. What do you guys think?

PS: This is not a for sales ad, this engine is still in my car and I still drive it, I wanna know the value of it if I decide to get rid of it for something else, which is still in the air.

HMO wants 390$ plus taxes/shipping for one. Mines in just as good condition, maybe I should ask for $400 cause mine is mated to one of the shortest geared D series tranny I've ever driving. I've 1/4 miled the engine. I got a 15.9 on slipping clutch and bad bushings that made the engine rock back and forth, on worn winter tires mounted on bent steelies. I'm usually in 3rd within the first 100-150meters, this thing has mad short gears. Other Si trannies don't feel as short (my brothers Si gears are longer ). Anyways, sorry about the novel, help me out guys!

WTF man? You now want to sell it (maybe) for MORE than HMO cause of what you have done to it?

1-you beat on it daily
2-you have not replaced gaskets, instead you siliconed it
3-you beat the **** out of it down the 1/4
4-you beat it so badly that the clutch slips

Why would anyone in thier right mind ever pay you more than 200 for the whole thing?

Not trying to fight with you man, but damn! Thats a lot of abuse for wanting more than an importer does.

1. Mine comes with a tranny, axles, shift linkage and short throw.

2. I saw a total of 15 passes on the 1/4, alot less then most engines.

3. The gasket that was broken was not offered in America, even Honda told me to silicon, and a few guys here aswell.

4. Daily driving it sees 3500rpm, 5000rpm at most when passing or downshifting to slow down.

5. The clutch is oil soaked, if you read the part about the oil on the clutch from the leak, you would understand that the clutch has meat on it, it just won't grab anymore. It will only slip if you drive it like an *******, and I don't do that to it since it's my everyday, gotta drive 50kms to work and back and school and back car.

HMO + shipping + taxes + all the other **** = 800-900$ when everything is said and done. Mine, 400$ if I sell it for the new engine. DOHC ZC go for 800-900 around here.

Here is the oil leak issue.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1632469

As you can see, the only way to properly block it off is to use the carb the engine must of came with, or put a non carb head on there.

Link to a local importer.

Still cheaper, and I offer more. So, back off buddy. I don't wanna pick a bone, but I've been having a rough month and your not helping. Note the location of me, 400$ CAN is 350-375$ US.

Adleast I'm honest about the condition of the car. Some synchromesh and a new clutch would make it a mint ZC. It's got no crud build up, just dust. I just bought the new engine, so it's forsure that this one is coming out and getting sold. I just need to know, what should I ask? The driveshafts I have click alot aswell, and are worthless for use, but are awesome cores!
