Default Stainless Steel Brake line comapnies.

Looking into buying some stainless steel brake lines on my EM2, and was just wondering what kind of company to be on the look out for... I had a set of Goodridge's on an Eclipse I once had, but they were ****.

Im looking at Earls, Edelbrock, Russel and eBay ones.

What are your thoughts/opinions on various manufacturers?

Well, the only thing that sets one companies SS brake lines apart from another to me would be an added protective coating on the outside of the SS braid. The problem you run into with SS lines on your suspenison, is dust can get between the braids & wear on the teflon inside. This eventually causes leaks & requires replacment...

The only companies I know of that have an outer coating would be Neuspeed (yellow), and Stop-Tech (clear). I have the neuspeed lines on the rear of my Civic and they work great. I think that I would like to go with Stoptech next time because they are the only company that sells brake hoses in axle pairs (instead of sets of 4)...

01-05 Civic EX.... an EM2 is also the lx/dx/hx and such. Any 01-05, other than the Si's.

I have them and they are top quality. If it makes you feel any better, King Motorsports sells them ( http://www.kingmotorsports.com/category.aspx?cat=3 ).
