Whos running the ZC 3rd and 4th gear what u think of it. And other questions were can i get the 3rd and 4th ZC syncros from??

I ran them. 1000000000000000000x better than stock ex gearing.

synchros are the same.

Ok cool im gonna do the ZC 3rd and 4th see how it works try the syncros i have now then maybe this winter upgrade to the Gear speed ones

if for some reason you end up with a 1988 tranny with the 20 splined mainshaft, let me know. I have a few 1.944 zc mainshafts.

Also, I know that I PM'd you the info, but just in case someone else is searching in the future, please note:

all internals with the exception of the gears are the same on these cable d-series transmissions.

synchros, synchro hubs, bearings, etc all are the same parts. The only difference is the axle seals and MAYBE the differential bearings

I ran the ZC third with a stock 4th, then with a 1.172 4th. Like it way better than my stock Y7 3rd. Had a 4.7 FD and topped out 3rd at 73 or so mph.

What has to be done to the 4th gear to put it on the hydro trannies??? Bore it out ? Notch the shift fork ??

I thought i heard u had to modify stuf to put the zc 3rd and 4th gears in the tranny

I wanna use the zc 3rd as a 3rd gear in my y8 tranny and the zc 4th as a 4th gear in my y8 tranny
