i have a 91 crx si 1.6 sohc and it will not start. It seems that it is not getting any spark. But when i atempt to start it the chech engine light comes on. So i Looked at the computer to get a code but the computer was not giving a code. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what is is?

 

it could be your starter or your alternater your ecu wont say a code if those dont work

 

i had a similar problem and it turned out that it was my ignitor.
get it checked by a reliable shop don't just guess or it might end up costing you more money...

 

check the ecu.find out what code it is and go from there.the ignitor,coil,cps sensor,tdc sensor, are all in the distrib.replace the distrib.auto zone is like $145.00 and its life time warranty,worth it.

Check your coil. HOnda is really bad at this. I think it's $96 at autozone. I replaced mine 2 months ago. Good luck
