installed header, now a clicking and very low rev limiter

i just installed my dc header and was testing it out and i revved it up to 7k in first and second and was pretty pleased, then after a while i did it again only to find out that i smacked the rev limiter at like 6.5k. wtf, im so pissed/confused. and there is an annoying clicking coming from the driver's side near the TB. thanks in advance guys

its in a b16. the clicking was an exhaust leak but idk about the rev limiter. hasnt done it since yesterday. i fixed the exhaust leak so maybe thats what it was.
