As for as i know there isnt a component set-up in the 06 SI that means a tweeter and a mid range all i see are just 6 1/2's.

Look by the corner of the windshield on the dash there's perferated triangles, those are where the tweeters are. Remember there's 7 speakers. 2 6.5" in the doors, 2 6.5" in the rear deck, an 8" in the center of the rear deck, and 2 tweeters in the corners of the dash. So it pretty much is a component setup.

no prob, the system sounds really balanced, as long as ur not a super bass freak then i think u'll like it just the way it is.

If i can have the windows down and the sunroof open and do 70 down the highway and still hear my music clearly then it's definetely good enough.

I planned on putting a nice Infinity or MB Quart set-up in the si a little while after i get it from what steave02 was saying the stock tweets are in a akward location. I hope i can changed them out without much of a hassel if you can post a pic of the location of the tweeters that would be great steave02 thanks in advanced.

my 2 cents...the system in the civic is absolutely amazing. think about it. its just a civic...and it has a kickass system for what it is. i wouldnt trade it for anything. its loud enough, bass is just right, and its got all you need.
