i havent really heard of any shops doing it around here... everyone who i have talked to about it says to try it yourself unless you feel very uncomfortable with it. im going to be doing it once my car is off the road for the winter

The only way to achieve a really clean bay is by removing the abs unit, power steering system, and the A/C.

Also people relocate the fuse box and battery to insider the car. And reroute the headlight harness through the inside of the fender. Basically remove the headlight bulbs and pull the harness to the firewall. One each side near the firewall you will see a small opening and feed the wires into there which leads to the inside the fender/frame rail area. Then just pull it through near the headlights and re-attach. For the fuse box remove the screws holding it down and on the bottom you'll see a harenss connected on the bottom. Unhook it and find a place under the dash and attach the fusebox and redirect the harness back through the firewall and connect it back to the fusebox.

lol..
i don't see the point in a wire tuck, unless its strictly show than sure.but if you daily it or track it or anything, if somethign goes wrong in your wire tuck as in you did a half *** job putting the wires back together since you have to chop it and run into problems than good luck
i pray that you don't get an electrical disaster, i s aw it happened on my beater almost caught on fire. had to resoder a whole harness will never do it again. but if you want to do it..be my guess

to each there own i guess.

This is true. You can tell because it has a round hole on the inner fender where the abs unit sits. Plus the guy that sold him the shell vouches that it was a sir-g shell. clean car though.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice Integra.

It's just not an ITR as it's hyped up to be.

If it is a real ITR, then why does it have this hole?

Thats where the ABS unit used to sit. All Integras have that, most of them have ABS so it covers the hole.

My bay is "tucked" but it doesnt look like it because all the accessories are still there.

Only non-ITR's have a hole there.

If you really want to split hairs, this picture shows that the rear lower tie bar brackets are not OEM ITR brackets. OEM ITR brackets can be seen here for comparison.

Fakes!

It's a hole for the factory intake, but the ITR draws its air in from the fender area. That's why the ITR does not have a hole there.

The only usdm DC's I have seen with that hole are the Integra RS. All other integra's have no hole. Go to the appearance forum and take a look at peoples under the hood picks.
