Im pretty sure Exedy and Daikin are the same company, so i have one. Its mated with a Fidanza flywheel and i havent had any problems at all. If you are planning on turboing or using spray, it probably wont hold up for long. If you ride on the clutch and let it drag, or do a ton of launches without letting it cool down it will start to slip.

Overall, i like it because its cheap and its still easy to drive in stop and go traffic if you need to, perfect for a daily driver with minimal bolt on mods.

im thinkin of not using an aftermarket flywheel and just keep the stock one. dont plan on anything more than the regular intake, header , exhaust for a long time.

if you reuse the stock flywheel make sure you take it to a machine shope to get it resurfaced. Shouldnt cost more than $40 or so. If you dont, there is a good chance that the new clutch will "chatter" and probably wont last as long.

Good luck

you'll get at vibration and it will be kinda jumpy when you are slowly taking off from a dead stop. It can be kind of annoying. Think of it like the vibration from a warped rotor, except its your flywheel/clutch. Sucks.

i have had an aftermarket one resurfaced. I jstu found it odd that honda flat out says do not resurface the flywheel.
When i had mine done the machine shop pulled the dowel pins, then surfaced teh flywheel, and the surfaced th outside edge to keep proper step height. Cost me $75 which is more than i expected to pay but still cheaper than another flywheel.

i got the exedy clutch with the 11lb XTD flywheel (it was cheap) from clutch city or something like that on Ebay and the clutch and flywheel are great so far its just the throw out bearing that was no good from the start.

The Exedy OEM clutches have served me well in a few different vehicles . I've resurfaced the flywheels in all of my Honda's without issue, I wouldn't do a clucth job w/o resurfacing or getting a new flywheel.

its the same process as aftermarket, its jstu that honda has put out several bulletins saying dont bother resurfacing, if it has excessive heat spotting, warpage, or wear they say replace it.
