we wax hundreds of carbon fiber products a week here and we use carnuba wax and meguires show car glaze. what brand of hood is it. If it has a clear coat you can wax it with anything you wax your car with, if a gel coat you might want to use something like swirl remover because the gel coat is harder and that will get the shine more out of it.

if it ever oxides, wet sand and have a body shop shoot a few coats of clear onto it, and then wetsand and buff afterwards. you'll never need to wax the hood again unless you want it gleeming in the sunlight.
