Default Removing engine from EG, movability of car afterwards?

Hey guys,
Im unsure what to do with my car at the moment..
I plan to get a respray in a few months time and then afterwards swapping in a new engine..

The problem i have is that i may have to move the car out of my garage from time to time (only needs to be pushed forward with slight turning to the left)..

Is it easy to move a car around without engine??
Obviously there are no axles so no steering or front wheels! but can i keep the axles on the hub and put the front wheels on and move it around this way?? Do you think it would be impossible to puch the car slightly left??

Anyone have any ideas.

i just had my motor swap a few days ago
we had to move the car with no engine and axles
just put on the wheels and bolt everything back up minus the axles
steering should be fine

Im pretty sure all i will need is to keep the steering rack in and just leave the axles hanging in the bay with the hubs connected (too much mucking around to go have the bearing pressed off).

Is this right?

yeah leave the steering alone, otherwise its a pain to move, and without the engine your eg should be light as a feather, extremely easy to move

As long as you leave the rack in and the tie rods connected and put the wheels back on you will be good.

Take the axles out, or tie them up secure so they dont get in the way when your moving the car. Youll be fine.

Or leave wheels and stuff off and get a little dolly or a crate something and put wheels on it so you can just push it around like that.
I know they make them you sit the framerails on and they have 4 little caster wheels. Should be easier and you would always have them for later.

it should roll just fine after you put the wheels and suspension back on.

or you can put a jack under the front end of the car and pull. make sure to pull slowly though.
