kaixen plug & play problems, help! JDM headlights with pics
Hey, i have a quick question and i have searched for the answer and couldnt come up with anything
i have the jdm itr non hid front end. i purchased a 6000k kaixen plug and play hid kit from itzcarloooo. Everything is hooked up normally except i didnt replace the 10 amp fuses with the 20 amps.
The problems i am having are the drivers side bulb seems brighter than the passenger side. i can see a distinct beam of light on the ground from the drivers side, but non really visible from the passengers side. The beam isnt really spread out like it should be either, its more of a spot light effect persay.
also i notice that if i park aiming towards a wall the left side looks decent but the passenger side has a yellowish eclipse at the top of the beam. On both sides, the beam is more of a circular shape instead of being spread out, could this be my projectors? anyone ever have this problem with the JDM non hid headlights?
I also cant seem to get them aimed right. Ive read through the articles about aiming and went to numberous websites containing such info, but could not get it right. Either they are aimed to high and i can see the trees or they are aimed to low and barely show much of the ground in front of me.
I know that the USDM headlights aim more towards the right to keep from blinding oncoming traffic and the JDM ones aim more to the left. My passenger side seems to aim to the left quite a bit and when im parked approx 20 feet from a wall the two headlight beams seem to be really really close together, alomst touching, Could this affect the light output? anyway fixing this?
Another question is.. I know the USDM headlights have a verticle and horizontal aiming. Do the JDM headlights also have this? the only aiming **** i see adjusts the headlight up and down.
if any of you have the answers of any of my questions feel free to post. Also if any of you have had these same problems, post and tell if you have fixed it and how.
Thank you for reading and Thanks in advance for helping
Scott
***UPDATE***
ok.. so i found the horizontal adjuster, and i also swapped the bulbs, left and right side, to see if it was the bulb that was causing the yellowness..
im thinkin its my projector or something on it, any way to clean it without taking the lense apart? easiest?
anyways heres some pics of the pass headlight against a piece of white board

and a pic of the drivers side.. see the difference? the passengers side has a yellow place at the top
