<FONT COLOR=""Blue"">UPDATE 8/16/06: Car is being picked up this thursday, and will be in falls church. I will be removing the pieces I need off of it during this time, but won't yank the motor until the end. If somebody has the tools and equipment to pull the motor out and help me swap out the tranny's you can get a hell of a deal on motor or shell, pm me if you are interested in doing this. The car is a 94 Del Sol SI Samba green, I'll post a pic of it on thursday. It will take roughly two weeks to get the title, because my coworker's bank needs to send him the title, so shell won't be ready to be sold for another 2 weeks from thursday. The following is the list of parts to the best of my knowledge, the list will get changed and updated as I go along. I won't part out into any smaller sections than whats posted, so don't ask.

94 del sol rolling shell needs (exhaust, motor, radiator, ecu, seats, shift linkage) currently has a b16 so it's wired for a vtec motor. Body is a little rough, will post pics of it on thursday. $650

JDM B16A 80k+ miles block, needs head, motor is currently in car runs great $700

USDM '00 GSR non LSD Tranny **no grinds whatsoever** shifts smoothly, currently have it in my car and runs great, upgrading to an lsd tranny $750

Pics of the del sol?

 

A couple things changed, and I know have a couple different options.

The JDM b16 motor didn't have a type R head, so I won't remove the head anymore, but it still has the titanium valves, stock valvesprings, can rev to 9k. So JDM B16 motor comes one of two ways.
1. JDM B16 w/ CTR Cams (GSR Valve cover) $1500
2. JDM B16 w/ GSR Cams (GSR Valve cover) $1100

Tranny Choices also
1. USDM '00 GSR Tranny $750 (if you help me swap out trannys - by help I mean a place, tools, knowledge and labor- you can get the tranny for a cool $300)
2. JDM Type R LSD Tranny with 4. something final gear $1350 (the gsr tranny is in my car now, and I'd like to get this in there, but if I don't have the means to do it, then I'll just sell it for this.

I'll outright sell del sol for $3500 and you can swap the clutch and have a b16 w/ type R tranny with CTR cams. $3150 w/ GSR Cams. Car will have stock exhaust, stock seat passenger seats needs brackets, has some body damage. Pics posted on sunday (promise). If I get help swapping the trannys, you can pick up the car for 2500 w/ gsr cams, or $2850 w/ ctr cams along with the GSR tranny. Need somebody local to the northern virginia, because I have no way to really drive the other car anywhere else.

Do you have a clear title for the sol? I may be interested in the car + helping you with the tranny job, I have a garage + tools + I have done many tarnnys.
