Default Lets see some lowered cars with no camber kits...

I searched in the archives and found nothing.

I'd like to see some lowered cars, mainly tegs, without camber kits. Specifically, I'd like to know how low I can go without demolishing my tires...

TIA

LOL. Well, im not really going for the 'slammed' look, but I dont like much gap in between the tires and fenders. They're about even right now

Only pic ive got where you can see it kinda bow legged in the front.

And trust me if you were looking at it from a different angle...more specifically from behind the car more youd be like

If you dont want to spend the money on a camber kit do the washer method for the rear and spend a few for a front kit.

Why some people worry about camber kit? If they dont want lower the car without camber kit, then dont lower it.. Leave the car as stock.. Just switch the tires from front to rear every three thousand miles for having the oil change.. SOOO Simple.. Here are the pics of my car with no camber kit even no alignment..

how long does the tire last? I heard 0 toe helps a lot.

The tire shop I go to says that stock upper control arms and a moderate drop with a toe allignment will give the car better response in terms of steering and handling. I dropped my car with no upper adjustables and my tires were gettin f'd up in 3 months or less. I purchased the omni adjustables thinking that adjusting the camber would help. It actually did very little. Now, I have omni adjustables set at 0 and it's damn hard to steer with everything "straight" due to the allignment. I think imma take his advise and try the oem links. With my drop, I'll probably get around -.5 to -1.5 degrees which isn't too bad.

So, it's not your camber that eats up your tires. After you drop your car on OEM upper control arms get an allignment and see how you like it then dial it in with camber links if needed. I should've done the same

yea the key is to zero out your toe. the camber/caster shouldnt affect your tires at all.

0 toe is key. I want a camber kit to dial in how much negative camber I have. In this old pic, my car was at -3 to -3.5 degrees up front. Got 25-30k out of my ES100's before I sold the wheels.
