my friend and i had looked around forever for it. its krylon stained glass paint in orange. we looked at wal-mart, michaels, etc. pretty much all the hobby shops and arts and craft stores around....nothing. then one night while he was in montreal he noticed a paint shop and decided to go in while in a drunken stupor ....there he found 2 cans of krylon stained glass paint....brought them back to the states and now he has nice amber corners for his gsr and i will soon have some "vision" corners for my 94 coupe. moral of the story:

go to montreal, get drunk, find paint, be happy

CHRIS

the kind you want is made by Tamiya. they dont carry it at micheals or wal-mart. I couldnt find it either, so I just called hobby shops and asked if they carried Tamiya. Its Tamiya clear orange #24

yea its a glass spray paint. yes its transparent hence "glass paint" .
you might have to sand it down a little to get it really smooth.

Is it okay to spray the outside of the corners or should you take off the lens and spray the inside?

Just wondering.

outside is good enough. just put the lenses in a cardboard box and spray away, let dyr, buff/sand as necessary and enjoy

I am the friend with the Drunken Stooper..... boy it was a fun time up there. but yea, there's no stained glass orange anywhere around albany. i put 4 good coats on a set of clear corners and it looks exactly as i'd like. (on the outside, since taking them apart would destroy them)

what are you going to sand it down with? Thats going to scratch it, I assume, using regular sand paper. you plan to get 100000000000000 grit sand paper or wet sand it. Please explain.

Look in the arts and crafts section of walmart i've seen it there many time in different stores. They don't put it in the paint and car sections from i've seen.
