Default Headlight Question

I just picked up a 93 eg cx. Its a canadian and has the daytime running lights. Does anyone know how to disable them? Thanks

there mite be a fuse that you can take out...not sure tho..

WOW, i didn't know they had daytime running lights(got pics?). just unplugged them. and why would you want to disconnect them anyways?

It's really easy. There is a fuse in your interior fuse box that says DRL, just pull it out. Edit: There might actually be more than one fuse. Make an educated guess and after u pull it check that all other function of your car still work (headlight, wiper, etc.).

IMO Daytime running lights are sick and u should keep them.

ok. let me go take a pic. but DRL are different then city lights im sure. cause DRL uses the normal H4 bulb, but puts out like a quarter of the brightness, where the city lights uses its own wedge bulb.

well when i turn headlights on they get brighter. when i dont have headlights on and i turn my car off. they turn off too.

my 92 VX has DRLs, willing to sell the DRL box and harness thogh

The DRL's look mean. I would definitely think twice before disabling them. It gives you that unique advantage compared to most other guys, why get rid of that?

I keep lights on all day for safety.....wish I had DRL's, so I wouldn't kill my battery once a week
