I've been looking for an ITR for sale in and around Chicago and I can't find any. I have the funds just no luck finding one. If you know of anyone and/or anywhere that has one for sale please inform me. I'm dying for an ITR. I've love these cars since ever.

 

You really need to broaden your search. There just aren't that many ITRs out there; only 3,850 were sold in the United States. Even though we've got almost 10 million people in our area, that's only about 3 percent of the country. Yes, we've got some ITRs here and we get together for meets once in a while, but there might not be any right here at the time you're ready to buy, especially if you're looking for one in a certain price range or with certain mods, etc.

Your best bet is to watch all the classifieds here and on the usual car listing sites, for cars nationwide. Keep in mind that good cars sell very quickly, so be ready to act immediately when you see what you want. If you see a car in another city, you can ask here if people know the car or if someone local there can check it out for you. You can also arrange to have the car taken to a qualified mechanic to inspect it before (or as a condition of) your purchase. Once someone has checked it out, for mechanical integrity as well as appearance and condition, make your deal and get a one-way plane ticket (or arrange to have it shipped here).

be willing to travel and you can have any color you want! Yes ITRs aren't commonly seen, but they are very commonly sold. As Ken stated, broaden your search and you will be surprised what turns up.

i've got a *CLEAN* 2000 PY ITR with 36k miles on it. it is a theft recovery with a JDM ITR motor swap. asking $14,000 but kind of in a hurry to sell it so I am open to all offers.
