I got my ecu from phearable.net today. I immediately noticed they had pulled the identification sticker off so I dont know what ecu it is however if its chipped correctly it really doesnt matter. I installed it and car seemed to be running better then all of a sudden it feels like the fuel cut off is coming in at 7,900 rpm. Has anyone had any problems like this with their ecu's? I am probably going to contact them and see about getting another ecu.

 

you didn't even explain what ECU you sent out to them, what ECU you bought, nothing. Why are you revving that high anyway? Higher Revs does not equate to more power in all circumstances.

 

Yea my bad... b16 SIR II. I bought an ecu straight up from them. I still have my p30 but i really dont know what they sent me. Everything seem to be the same. I rev up that high because I can lol do I need an excuse. Bottom line is it shouldnt be cutting out at 7,900 rpm.

 

Im only asking if any other people that have bought ecu's from them have had problems like this... not looking for someone to tell me how to drive my car. I am going to pull open the ecu and see if its even chipped.

 

I opened up the ecu and it is modified. Anyone had the problem im having??
