Default Civic to Integra Similarities

I know that the 94-01 DC aren't the same chasis as an 92-95 EG. but parts are interchangable.

Does it correlate such that hatchback/coupe EG = coupe DC and sedan EG = DB sedan
so for finding parts and i have a sedan can i look only to EG sedans as other donors?

i have one person saying that any 92-95 EG sunroof will fit on a sedan. And i would really like to find out if anyone has tested this?

Thanx h-t in advanced

-Nathan

ps. i asked this in the integra forum too.

It's not the same chassis! The chassis is obviously and fundamentally different. Many of the parts are the same or interchangeable, but that doesn't mean it's the same chasiss.

No it doesn't correlate as you've said. Pretty much any engine or suspension component is interchangeable regardless of the trim (besides Type R). For instance, I have GSR suspension on the front and rear of my EG, including the trailing arms, upper and lower control arms, and front swaybar. But clearly body panels, glass, and interior plastic is not going to fit an EG. The two cars are completely different dimensions and shapes.

ok well put. i know that you can put body panels from an integra to the EG hatch and make an integra.....

rumor is, is that an EG sunroof is the same one used in the integra. so i took it one step further and am asking about other components such as seatbelts. pretty much the two things i need....

i know the dash is different, door panels, interior panels are different.

sorry for stating "SAME CHASIS" didn't mean for it to sound like it did.

IDK about a whole integra but you can put the front end on a civic.
if you want to know about the sunroof just check the part numbers on here:

I don't get it. What's the difference if they're teh same or not? You still have to cut the roof open and do all the wiring and such anyways.

glass shapes and curavture of roofs are different. even between 2dr tegs and 4dr tegs. i'm not concerned for the motor. i need the glass. and installing the whole sunroof needs removal of the headliner.
