Default Walbro Cutout?

Just a quick question, some of you may have experienced this. I have a 255 LPH High Pressure Walbro in my 94 H22 Civic. It seems as if it likes to cut out during mild throttle. At first I thought it was just my foot having the pedal pushed down just far enough to open the throttle body, so it would cut in and out, but its been a little more consistent, and I've only used the pump for about 3 weeks. I also get barely 200 miles to a tank of gas, as opposed to 250-260 with my stock Civic pump. Any suggestions?

anytime you swap a bigger motor in and take out the original motor...''hence'' bigger motor...you ain't gonna get the same gas mileage....as far as fuel cut off goes, try checking your ecu.....

I meant I was getting 250 miles to a tank with the H22 on the Civic pump. Now, I'm getting 200 with the Walbro.

I heard rumors that installing a pump that pumps more then stock will up the fuel pressure. I do now have experience with the change in pressure after a walbro fuel pump installation, maybe someone can verify or disprove what i heard.

But if that yields true, a higher fuel pressure will increase the amount of fuel your motor will consume, assuming the injector's duration/duty cycle stays the same.

THUS it will run richer then it should be and your car will decrease in mpg's and possible stutter (which could be the possible be what you are calling the "cut-off") from too much fuel.

You said this perfectly. So should I invest in a FPR? Problem is I have 1000cc injectors I haven't installed yet, and I'm almost ready to setup my turbo. Will I need an FPR with 1000cc injectors and a turbo setup?

Welp, I have my walboro 255lph pump and with my stock p08 maps. I am running rich as expletive and I never see anything higher than 14.0 afr. I usually see 12.5s
