I did a swap for a friend a long time ago and still havent gotten to run right. The car start and drives fine, but it has code 9 and 6 with no vtec. I havent tried anything with code 6, which i was told should make vtec work. I dont know what sensor to start with. for code nine a new dizzy from dizy king didn't help, and I just tried a good ECU. Any help??

 

hell i faced this problem too,
i changed the dissy and it was gone,
Majorly it is a wiring problem.
try to press the dizzy wires in the Ecu wiring loom

 

code 9 = lmiter at 7500 with no vtec

 

I think Im at the point that I'm going to hard wire the dizzy to the ecu.

 

I hard wired the dizzy and the red/white coolant temp wires to the ecu and it runs fine now. The hits vtec and revs to 8200 once agian .
