I have a D16z6.... Well about a month and a half ago I was on my up to Orlando Speed World to run my car.... Well once I got there it started to over heat, so I let cool down and put coolant in, and ran my car. Well every thing was cool I drove it home and have
been runnin on it since.... but 2 days ago it started overheating again! So this time I checked every thing out and it was my heater hose. Well I replaced that and put new coolant, now every thing was cool untill tonight. I was drive home and my gauge read alittle more than half HOT... So I popped the hood you could heard the coolant/water boiling.... but no leaking! I heard a hissing from the end of the lower hose... but no leaking... Can some help me out?

Did you bleed the system, make sure there is no air in it...

 

might be stupid but did you get the 50/50 recommended ratio right? I would really check if you bled the system good as well.

 

I dont think I bled the system all the way..... because the only thing that drained was out of the heater hose... but it seemed like alot! But will airpockets in the radiator cause the car to idle surge idle/ idle wierd?
