shifter?

just recemtly i was driving and i hear something rattling i thought it was my heat shield but its not it sound like its coming from the shifter can someone help

but it only rattles at like between 2700 and 3000 rpms

Perhaps the hanger bracket from the exhaust broke, which can cause rattling at certain RPMs depending on how much vibration there is.

maybe your shifter bolt is loose and causing the metal bushings to rattle (assuming you have a short shifter)

happened to mine and just had to tighten the bolt
