AEM CAI
Example: You get the CAI and your motor hydrolocks, no, you wont be covered.
You get the CAI and your power windows go out, yes, it is covered.

if you want get the cai, i suggest you cut the pipe before the mass airflow sensor if you are worried in any way of sucking up water and ad a bypass valve to your intake. Of course everyone has there own opionions of wich way to do things "the right way". This is what i would do if i did get a CAI, But i just decided to go with the short ram intake. but the CAI is definetly better because your not sucking up hot engine air like im doing with my car.

just avoid going into puddles when you are driving, i mean im sure if i got the cai i would be fine, but i just didnt want to have to worry about water damaging the engine in anyway. i guess its just personal preference. As far as a bypass valve goes it just stops water going to the engine if you were to suck up enough water

injen makes a shield for it. kinda like a condom for it. its water resistant, NOT WATER PROOF! it will help. the positioning of the filter though, if its the same as the Injen CAI, u would have to hit one hell of a puddle for it to suck water up though.
and yes, the intake is the best investment for the car so far. it sounds so f'ing awesome. the exhaust, u can barely hear, but u can feel it. the intake u can hear and feel. worth every penny.
