whats the best way to removing paint from calipers with out taking them off?

 

Why not paint over them?

 

want it back to stock makes my spoons look funny, previous owner did the paint and now its cracking off

Just paint them silver..underneath there probably nasty looking.

 

yeah the owner of mine had them painted red. I'm just taking it off when i put my coil overs on...

 

Get out anything rubber or that you don't want corroded and hit them with aircraft stripper.

 

i dont want to repaint it because it will look like *** with chipped paint under it, and no the spoons arent painted

I am going to be doing this myself this weekend. My previous owner painted my calipers white all the way around

Unless you mean used with aircraft stripper then it would be quite helpful.
