So I approach Falken at IAS to tell them that I've been quite happy with their tires and that I'm on my second set...I told the nice representative that I had 2 mild track days, 3 autocrosses, 4 trips down the drag strip, 60 dyno runs, and about 6000 mountain road miles...guess what her response was? "wow, sounds like you were able to get quite a few miles out of them" I was a little amazed, and she said "what did you expect from a 200 treadware tire?"

Although there is some good news, evidently they are cutting down the amount of sizes that they are importing in so that they wont have as many back orders as they currently have.

 

so did you catch which sizes they're ditching? cause there will be some unhappy people if the 15s stop coming over.

 

I still think the folks at Falken are clueless as to what a great tire the Azenis is. It's pretty much *the* spec STS/STX soloII tire, and that's a huge market. Not to mention all of the other ones running around on the street and track.

I bought two sets because I'm afraid they will do something dumb and change the compound or whatever.

 

Didn't they already stop making 195/55/15?

They were going to stop producing the least selling sizes, I did inform them that the most common sizes for the honda/acura market were 205/50-15 and 195/55-15 due to the oem size of 195/55-15...also the 215/45-16. Not sure that my input will do a damn thing, but it's just a little help.
