I know they came in the '92 lude.. but did it continue thru '94??







Need to find one.. but I want to know what yrs to look for.. .thanks!

 

1993 VTEC USDM

 

93 lude has them

 

yeah tahts the standard 93. as an option it came with the armrest compartment attached to it that ive been searching for. the 92 was longer to the backseat and the 94+ moved the ebrake.

 

94' was totaly different. that is a 92-93 console, i wonder what the 91 jdm console looks like

91 JDM is just normal- like 92 everywhere.

 

Yea I figured it stopped at '93... b'cuz it change in '94 (BB4 I guess). But did only the Si, SE, & VTEC model have it... or did the S model have it as well?

 

a buddy of mine put an prelude arm rest on top the console you see above ... this is the only pic I could find.

thats just a 93 console...the 92 console is that long *** box, AKA the sex blocker

so the **** blocker only came in the '92's?? a buddy of mine had a '93 with the "No ses fo joo" rear box.

 

if ur looking for black interior panels. there was this one guy selling a black dash a while back idk if he still has it.. ill try to look for him

hmm..ive never seen the shorter one in a stock 92, or saw the sex blocker in the 93 stock lude...i dunno

my 92 has a [/sex] box too.. but then i hit VT4k and the panties drop y0!

wow in almost every prelude forum this topic came up in one day. so i'm just going to copy and paste what i said:

btw, also if anyone wants to buy either of my consoles, throw me an offer, i'm doing an official 94-96 console conversion replacing brake cables, my friend lou did it.

depends on how bad u want it.

i'd say trade ur 92 for the 93. and just ship it out.

btw, 92-93 ludes share the parking brake and hazard switch position.

92 ludes had a glove compartment divider between the rear seats. it was a console that extended all the way to the rear that had an ultra rare optional detachable drivers side armrest from the factory (which i may sell mine too),

the 93 consoles (prolly the worst one in the 4th gen IMO), had a small console that really didn't have any use except for a rear ash tray and extra room in the rear. its similar to the 96-00 sedan civic DX consoles. and did not have the compartment in the rear. however, 93's also had a factory (useless) cupholder inside the also ULTRA rare optional armrest which attached to the top of the naked 93 console. the one that hp92lude is asking me for. still debating on whether i should sell it or not..

94-96, well thas pretty much self explanitory... relocated parking brake to the left of the shifter (obviously to the right on JDM's), a poorly designed but still useful cupholder (where most lids break and never go down) lol (can be fixed with a paperclip). theres a write up on that somewhere.

i'd post pics, but i'm not home. if u look in my gallery. i think u could see my 93 conversion from the 92, with the rare optional arm rest.

im doing a 94-96 console conversion. Havent started yet, but will do a write up in this forum when i do. Be prepared to spend a bit...the complete console, e-brake assembly, and cables ran me about 270 bucks
