Default car shakes!

ok i'm going to try to explane this as clear as possible. I was on gettin on the highway and ifelt my steerin wheel tremblin .. i kinda ignored it till i hit 80 it was gettin worse! so i pressed the brakes lightly and the entire car statred to shake! even the brake padel! it felt like if it was warped... i kinda freaked out pulled over to the slow lane and cruzied to my brake shop... they said everything was ok he did some lil minor clean up on the pads and stuff ... they said it might need an aliement.. so off i go again on the highway.. this time.. the car is riding smooth as hell! i hit 80 and the car feels like a BMW so i gave it some more speed i hit 100 and its smoooth!!! i press the brakes ... and its all smooth also! i get off and i come to a red light ... i take off from the red light i hit 40 and the steerin wheel starts to shake again and the brake padel.. this been happenin on and off for the past few days! anyone??

im rollin on si's wheels with regualr tires.. and the car is lowered on coil overs..

balance and rotate your tires, get your rotors resurfaced and then you should be good to go!

My car has the same problem currently! 95 Civic DX Coupe. The car shakes off and on, and sometimes are worse than others. I checked it out at the shop and they said my axel, brakes and rotors were fine. Almost everyone recomended an alignment, but i found out that the tires were like... ten years old or something, and there were some bald spots... thus the lumpy ride. thats my car shaking experience so far tho.

A buddy of mine had his car shaking while not giving it gas. at Idle it shook or while driving once set speed was reached. (no load on the motor). He opened the hood and watched the motor shake untill the gas pedal was pressed and it smoothed out.
Turned out to be a thrashed motor mount.
Good luck.
