Hey guys, my dad just bought an 00 GSR that has the jackson supercharger and CAI but thats the only engine mods i can see. It just got broken into and our V-afc2 and steering wheel and shift **** were stolen. I was wondering what i have to do to get it moving again. Can i just plug the ecu back in and the MAF back in and it will run safely? or do i neeeed the afc to make sure the supercharger is tuned properly. Sorry i dont know how these products work, I'm a subaru guy :D

 

first you need to get a steering wheel..... it will prob run without the vafc on it, it was there for some minor tuning and it will run but not all that great. take it somewhere and get it properly tuned......
and whats a MAF?

 

mass air flow sensor? hondas dont have one I seriously doubt they stole your MAP sensor so yeah just get a new steering wheel and probaly another vafc and get that bitch tuned again.

 

I was told that the afc plugs in between the ecu and the MAP so i'd need to reconnect it but I didn't want it to run super untuned. I'll probably just go buy a v-afc 2 today for full price somewhere, and I already got the steering wheel. I think i bought my stolen steering wheel back lol, but whatever.

 

if you think you bought your stolen steering wheel back, he probably have all your ****, i would say whoop his *** and check that *****

 

It will run without the VACF, just drive like a grandma until you can either get another or get it actually tuned with something other than a piggyback.
