Default 215/60/14 on hx rims on my 90 civic si??

I just bought some hx's that had these crappy futuro tires on them...just wondering if they will fit without much rubbing?

Thanks for the help

yow...way too much sidewall. The stock CRX 14" is a 186-60-14 (duh)

The 215-60-14 is going to add 2" to the diameter. This will actually slow down your acceleration, throw off your speedo (it will read 64 when you're doing 60), alter the ride quality(mushy) and look like you're ready to offroad.

Try playing with this: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

The idea is to get as close to diameter as stock. I prefer a 195-55-14.

I didn't know they made a 55 series tire in a 14"...

uh, yeah...I run them on my 14" rims.
Bridgestone RE-71...which they don't make anymore.
And there aren't many left that I know of. Toyos T1-S and Bridgestone SP8000
