Default Once a clutch slips, its done right?

I was dragging tonight and when i threw second and let go of the clutch is slipped to 8k and then i let go and gave gas again it was fine.
So on the way home i pushed it a little and it seemed fine but only grabbed at the top of the pedal, so I guess is done right?

What is the cheapest way out for me to get it back on the road? but not with chitty parts...

Or do i try acura and see what they say?

No, not necessarily. You've worn a "spot" as we'll call it in the disc. A few weeks back i slipped my clutch out and 4K only to watch the RPM's move through 3 gears and the car barely moving along at 15mph. Be good to the clutch for a few days and the normal feel should come back. HTH.

If it's okay, could someone please explain to me what it means by "Slipping" the clutch? How do you know if it's slipping etc...

You might be okay. Mine slipped rather horrifically at the dragstrip at around the 16K mile mark. After bleeding the clutch there was a lot more "life" still left in the clutch. I'm now at 56K and counting on the same clutch. fwiw - there have been many drag launches since then too at ProSolo's and on the street.

Mine is slipping pretty bad right now, but only if I drag launch or powershift. I have 11k miles. I may replace it with oem, but if bleeding it can help maybe I'll do that.
