Default factory looking paint for omni lcas

I'm picking up some omni lcas, I don't care for the bling, I'm just replacing the factory ones because of the damn bushings/bolt.

I want to paint the omni's black, and hope they look like the new hondas painted suspension parts. Any suggestions?

How would I go about painting the lca's the proper way?

Same here i want take my omni lca's and paint them white to go with my te'37's i would suggest sanding them down with 1000,1500,2000k grit sandpaper work your way up. Then do a light primer and paint them

Flat black most likely.

Why not buy some Black Blox lca's?

just checked em out, look good. Hopefully they're available locally. I want to put these on quick. We'll see.

Err, Get them powdercoated...spraypaint is most likely going to flake because they are constantly getting sandblasted by just driving on any roads. However, for a 5 dollar job, you cant complain..but if you want them to outlast spraycan jobs by years..powdercoat them.

id just take some 500-600 sand paper to them give em some tooth, spray a coat of primer, and a coat of Satin Black(semi-flat) then stick em back on, should be fine for a while

yeah I've heard the stories, I thought they corrected the problem w/ the new model. WTH? Can't they do anything right?

I've heard most of these cheap lca's use basically the same cheap bushing.
