My friend with a 91 crx with a b16a swap raced tonight, and after a race he realized in the parking lot he had lost all of his coolant. I showed up with anifreez and filled the car, and followed him home wich is like a 12 mile trip. The car was fine the whole way, but once he got home the cooling fan continued to run. My question is, how did he lose all his coolant, but once refilled, he didnt lose anymore? Any help would be appreciated.

 

bad head gasket i think. check the oil. if it in fact is a head gasket then there will be coolant in the oil. and it would smoke.
