Any news on 07 SI Sedan? Anything other than "this Fall...maybe"
Anybody?
My wife’s 94 Geo Prism is LONG overdue for a replacement.
We have been thinking of an E91 (BMW AWD 3 series wagon) or a Civic EX, (two very different prices). I would really like to get her a SI sedan, just because it would be fun, and we already have a quad cab diesel beast to move people and stuff around in, so we don’t really need a wagon (but the AWD would be cool).
I kid you not, her car is toast, it has 186K on the odometer, and has been beat, for the past 5 years we have been treating her car like it was going to be replaced tomorrow (assuming that it would blow up), but the dam thing never has died.
Problem is I am getting impatient, and there seems to be no new info, Vacaville Honda, Yuba City Honda, and Crown Honda in Redding California all seem to be clueless about the possibility of a SI sedan. There is no new info on the Honda website, and I have never received any sort of email update, even though I signed up on the SI Sedan mailing list on the Honda site. If the SI is going become the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, which will never exist, I will be quite ticked that I waited for nothing.
Any info would be appreciated,
Peter

I talked to my uncle a few weeks ago that works for a Honda Dealer in the St.Paul/Mpls area, he said they would be available as early as late September if i was to be on the list!! What do you think of that?? I kid you not!!!
I also asked about pricing he says, about $500-800 more than the coupe!
Thats what i know!

Well,
I went by Crown Motors in Redding on Monday the 14th. Went in and talked to Andy W, he had not heard anything new, but at least he seemed exited about the new SI sedan.
If anybody has any good stuff, or knows of any factory bulletins, please leave a reply on the forum. Also if anybody knows of a good salesman in NorCal let me know. The only good one I know of is Rob Randolph at Serramonte in SF, but they only sell Dodge and Mitsubishi.
Thanks again,
Peter

Just burning up some posts.
Trial user = no posting in the general classifieds.

I emailed Independence Honda (Independence, Missouri) today to ask if they new when they would be arriving and what the pricing would be.
This is the reply I got

Thank you for the inquiry and good day to you!
We do not currently have a price list as to what the new Civic SI 4 door will be. We do however expect the first ones to hit around the end of November although there is nothing concrete as yet.
I would give a good estimate that it will be aprox. $200 more than a standard Civic SI with all the same features and an added two doors of the coupe. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you at this point or if you would like to have your name put on the next available 4 door Si that arrives.
Thanks,
Gary Nichols

An even brighter light of hope. We all know it's coming soon, so hang in there for just a little bit more.
