Default *___* S13 wire tuck, shaved firewall, hidden brakes, ect....

Sold the VG swap out of my S13 a while back and the chassis has just been sitting around so I figured I'd throw a stock SR20 in it to drive around and have a little fun with. Since I already had the bay all cleaned up and shaved I figured I might as well hide the wiring on the SR. Heres how its coming along...

Completly wired up!

MAF sensor wiring going into framerail

Underhood fuse/relay box now behind the stereo

Still trying to decide where to put the ecu, ignitor and SAFC

All wired up!

The only wires going into the bay through the firewall

Under dash shot of the fuse/relay box, master cylinder/booster, ect...

line lock

drivers side relay box and headlight wiring

More pics to come....

why bother with hiding the brake lines/booster/master cyl. if somthing goes wrong with the brakes its going to be way more of a pain in the *** to work on them if they are all tucked away under the dash. I mean dont get me wrong, the work and wiring is damn impressive and obviously the engine bay looks clean but i just feel like the brake parts being tucked is just alot of work to end up doing even more work if you have a brake problem, nice work tho

Thanks for the 's guys! And sorry I didn't notice this was Honda-Tech, my bad . I've had the brakes under there for over a year and never had to mess with them and even if/when I do it can easily be reached from the passenger side under the dash (re; no hvac system), same with the fuse/relay box. I'll post some more pics soon, I'm trying to get the car done by next weekend...

Hey man, since you seem to be one of the few with a 240 here I have a quick question..

I am debating on trading my 93 honda civic dx hatch w/ a b16a swap and many other goodies for..

1991 240sx w/ some aftermarket wheels, with 147k miles...

What do you think I could get out of my car? Maybe his car plus him give me maybe $3k?

Also, with your sr20(im assuming its a DET), is it a lot more fun than driving a honda. I am wanting something more fun but am debating on a h2b swap in my civic and cant decide!

TRADE OR NOT

Do you think

ehh.... do you not have a prop valve for your front brakes? good job on everything else tho. why are there so many wires on the outside of the left frame rail? that cant be just lighting, can it?

so wait, you 'threw in' an SR20 to drive it around for a while, to have fun. you ended up relocating the master cylinder and doing a complete wiretuck. lolllll

nice! hehe

KraZE; S13's don't have an external prop. valve like the Hondas do. I'm sure I could benifit from one but haven't noticed a need for it yet. All the wires on the driverside fender are for the relay box, headlights and headlight motors. It's alot less than before haha, I need to get a pic of the bundle of wires I took out of the chassis harness...

How long did it take to hide the drivers side harness?

I am contemplating whether or not to do this on my RX-7.

rx7's are a wiring nightmare. if i was going to rewire an rx7 i would call up painless and get a nice fuseblock. then just design my own harness from scratch, probably mil-spec connectors too.
