What motor is this? What is your overall goal for the motor?

If you only want a mild set of cams, and maybe an intake manifold, then it would be less important to build the bottom end. If you are trying to build the motor for high compression, forced induction, or to handle nitrous then build up the bottom end. Ultimately, you will have to build the bottom, and top end for the best possible power.

If you are looking at those cams, then do your head first. The BC3's will accommodate most any compression ratio. Eventually you can do the bottom end, just be ready for some good power.

thanks alot i prciate the advice. would u reccomend getting dual spring valve springs and titanium retainers for those cams? and also do u think getting some flat head valves would be worth it cause i know those would raise the comp ratio a lil bit?
thanks
