I have a 1990 crx hf with a sohc zc motor, the car runs good for a little while but then all of a sudden it will throw a check engine light and it will be on for like 2 seconds and i will lose all engine power and then it will go back off and the car will run fine for a few minutes, this seems to be getting more frequent sometimes it happens every minute or so and sometimes it wont happen for like 10 minutes, I cant find any problem with the car, the ecu isnt showing any fault, does anyone know what this could be it seems like its losing spark or fuel or just has a bad connection somewhere thanks for the help

Try a good known working distributor first. I had the same problem before with a friends car. Then go from there.

Whats up? I noticed your know how and wanted to see if you could help. I am puting a single 1.6 v-tec into a hf 89' rex, ther question is w/ the distibutor were the connectios r different from the harness. The harness has round males and the dist. has square females. Can i use the connections from the 1.5 non?
