WTF is wrong with my clutch?
Got in my car today to leave.....pressed the clutch down to start the car and heard a "pop". Cranked the car and got ready to drive. I only have about 1/2" of space where the pdeal actually does anything. I can shift fine but if I barely put my foot on the pedal it starts slipping. I swapped over one of my slave cylinders off my old trans and it didn't help anything. I changed my clutch master cylinder about a year ago with a 3 month AutoZone replacement which is getting replaced with OEM tomorrow. When the car is off the clutch acts normal, but when the car is running its a whole nother story. Almost feels crunchy when I press the pedal down and it engages a whole lot soon than it used to.
Also I start college Next Friday and hopefully if it is the clutch I can order a new disc (Which is harsher 4 or 6 puck? I am turbo'd and need one that will hold up but be less harsh).
Setup now includes:
ACT Streetlite Flywheel
ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
ACT Street Disc
New Bearings
