Won't match my all-black bike and black dainese leathers, but that helmet just screams me! Down to the camo in the lower back. LoL

I wonder if Arai would cry foul would you try to return one of these under warranty.

 

If they are an authorized dealer, should they not warranty it?

Anyone know why they forbid their helmets from online orders to begin with?

I can get arai rx-7's from local dealer for cheaper then that and no shipping cost thats just sad online prices

 

From what I have heard, Arai's sales have suffered immensely since they pulled online sales. It is probably most attributable to the influx of a large amount of helmet manufacturers, some of which (Scorpion) have made a huge impact on the MC scene.

Of course they would suffer, thats simple common sense. Making your product less available and harder to purchase is never a smart move.

ebay has same tommy gun fot 550. but iam not sure what year they are made. i tried to e-mail them . no reply

that is funny, cause i have never had an issue. I own 3 Arai helmets. the first one I own, the pods on the side broke. I got this helmet from a friend of mine, no reciept or anything, emailed Arai, within 2 weeks I had new pods color matched and all.

month or so ago, i crashed at the track, A different Arai helmet which I purchased ONLINE, got banged up, i recently emailed Arai, and filled out the appropriate online forms, which ask where you purchased and so forth. i put the store which i got it from, and they said if i pay for shipping it out there, they will look it over and possibly guarantee the helmet for another 5 years.

on a side note, when you goto motoGP event or AMA, there are vendors there that sell helmets, but they are mostly ONLINE stores, they sell Arai. you have nothing to worry about.

 

At VIR last year, there was an official Arai only tent, which is where I got mine, at a steep discount. They were also servicing customers helmets on the spot, regardless of documentation

i got my hayden laguna and an authorized dealer, and my black tommy gun on ebay (from willzgarage). a lot of places carry them, so whats the big deal if they are available online?
