comptech has a short shifter and so does neuspeed. neither shorten the height of the ****, they just shorten the throw. Comptech shortens throw 20% and neuspeed is a round 35% shorter throw.

I have the Skunk 2 Shift ***, It does sit lower on the shifter. Its also heaver, that just makes it seem lighter when you shift.

I've got the Skunk2 shifter ****...great addition to the car, sits quite low, feels good shifting since it's weighted...but man it gets HOT when sitting in the sun for any amout of time

all in all, a great buy...
