Default (asking for some help) car won't go - tranny, clutch or axle?

(1993 Prelude vtec)

I been driving my prelude for awhile with my steering wheel shaking everytime i step on the gas while driving. Not just the steering wheel shakes, but i can feel my whole car shaking as if the axle is mess up.

Now today, driving home i made a sharp turn with some speed. after the sharp turn onto a straight road about 30 yards on 2nd gear, it all of the sudden the rpm rev high and the car isnt moving. I pull over and jack up the car, the right lower control arm bar that goes to the Rack and pinion, it came loose. i dont know how of this would affect it from not turning my axle. On jacks, either both tire still spin with my hand. but engine won't spin it. On jack, start engine and it can go into gear without pressin clutch pad. Help please. will appreicate any advice. thank you

sounds to me like your clutch or pressure plate is so worn out its not doing anything anymore. if its going into gear with the engine running, the clutch disc is not grabbing the flywheel at all

edit: the arm that goes to the steering rack is the tie rod, it has nothing to do with your problem bit you cant steer that wheel without it connected

i got your point, btw i the mph still reads while i gas it in gear. I don't understand how can it be the clutch when it was working perfectly as it grabs good then all the sudden it grabs at 0%. Hopefully it's the clutch or pressure plate. i hate the tranny work.

btw it can get into all gears no problem without pressing clutch pad. clutch pad pressure still feels the same.

So you didn't see a broken axle when you jacked it up?
