How do you feed the speedo cable through the firewall?? I can't seem to find the opening through my car to the engine bay.. What did you guys do and how did you feed it through?

 

if the old one is still in the car, attach the new one to the trans. end of it then pull it up through the cluster. Otherwise, it's a bitch. Try getting a penlight and put it in the engine bay side of the hole and then look for the light.\

*edit* you can also just undo the 6-8 bolts (been a while, can't remember now) and take the dash out.

 

Behind the center console, just behind the stereo (i think). It is a tight fit for your hand, you are better off feeding it from the engine bay to the interior.

 

ok i got it through and it is running now and my my speedometer vtec etc works, but the needle bounces rapidly.. what is the cause of this??
